Homecoming was earlier tonight, and it was awesome. Let me begin by stating that I may have exaggerated in my last journal.

You see, my friend and Her (I've decided to capitalize the H to differentiate her and avoid confusion) best friend weren't officially dating...

But thanks to my handiwork tonight, I have a feeling they will be. It was me who got them not only to slow dance, but pushed my friend into spontaneously kissing her.

But on the other hand, in order to help him out, I missed so many opportunities to dance with Her. But there'll be other times to make my move, eh?

On the side of our school is a large stone tablet emblazoned with the words, "For those who gave their today for your tomorrow." How appropriate.
